Make several stemmed flowers and put them in a pretty vase for that someone special. Especially for that one person with the BLACK THUMB. These pretty roses will never die. :~)
Would be great for a flower girl, bride, or a mom/grandma gift.

Day 18 ~ Decorate a wire dressform with ROSES
These roses are all on clips but keeping them on a wire dress form makes it easy to pick out your rose accessory for the day and just looks really cool.
Make them all the same color or similar in color and create something that adds to your décor.

Sew or glue a pinback to the backside of a crochet rose. This one looks great on a black top or blazer. I have also used it to pin a scarf. Options are limitless!

Day 14 ~ vintage look rose bracelet
Crazy day yesterday so I am a day late getting this posted but it is so pretty and worth the wait!
I got the bracelet from at Hobby Lobby from the jewelry line "Fairy Tale" by bead treasures. There are others available that are a little more simple which would look amazing as well.

Day 5 ~ Rosy Tea cup
This cute decoration is great for a unique gift and super easy to make.
What you need:
1 tea or coffee cup (I got mine at goodwill for 35 cents)
Half a Styrofoam ball
Enough crochet roses to cover the Styrofoam ball
Hot glue gun and glue sticks
Depending on the size of the yarn you are making your roses with, you will need anywhere between 10 and 15 roses. Be sure to have enough yarn on hand to match your color.
How to do it make a rosy tea cup:
- Use glue gun to glue Styrofoam ball to the top of the cup.
- Starting at the top of the foam ball, begin gluing the flowers. Be sure to fill in all of the gaps. It is quite difficult to go back later and rearrange the flowers after the glue has dried.
That's It!

Embroidery Floss Roses ~ Day 3
Embroidery Floss Crochet Roses
Using embroidery floss instead of yarn makes some amazingly cute petite roses. Great for hairclips, pins, rings, or any kind of decoration.
What you need:
1 skein of embroidery floss (8.75 to 10 yards)
E hook (smaller if you want but this is the size I like to use)
Embroidery needle
Ch 29, dc in the 5th ch from hook, *Sk 1 ch, dc, ch1, dc in next st*. Repeat to the end of the ch. Ch 2, turn
5dc in the first ch sp in the previous row. Sc between the two dc (see picture). *6 dc in the next ch sp. Sc between the next 2 dc*. Repeat to the end. Finish off leaving a 6 inch tail.
Starting with the end of your lace strip that you just finished, roll up the strip like a burrito. Use the long tails to sew through the base to hold flower shape.

Rose Ring ~ Day 1
Crochet roses are amazing and can be used for so many different purposes. I am partial to using sock yarns and embroidery floss for my smaller roses.
A great way to display these pretty things is to create a Rose Ring. You can buy the ring bases at any craft store for a few dollars. There are usually multiple rings in a pack so you can make Rose Rings for your friends as well.
The quickest way I have found to attach the finished roses to the ring is with a hot glue gun.
Total time to make a ring: 20 minutes for the rose. 2 minutes to glue it to the ring base. Ta Da!
You can find the rose pattern here Rose Ring
